Spearheaded the full UX and UI redesign of Westat’s enterprise-level website, modernizing the platform to better reflect the organization’s credibility in research, statistics, and health data science

Conducted stakeholder interviews and departmental audits to gather insights across teams, ensuring the new site architecture aligned with business goals and user needs

Delivered a full heuristic evaluation of the legacy website, identifying usability gaps, accessibility issues, and outdated design patterns

Restructured the Information Architecture (IA), streamlining navigation and content discovery to support Westat’s extensive portfolio and service offerings

Created wireframes, page templates, and UI designs in Figma to establish consistent page hierarchies, responsive layouts, and user flows that accommodated both internal staff and external clients

Applied 508/ADA accessibility standards and incorporated inclusive design practices throughout the redesign process

Collaborated closely with Westat’s internal developers, PMs, and communications team to ensure fidelity to the design vision and seamless CMS integration

Supported the launch through user testing, refinement cycles, and internal onboarding materials, ensuring a smooth transition and measurable improvements in site usability and engagement
